Early last month, we got a call from one of the organizers of Lexington’s Patriot’s Day Parade inviting us to participate in the town’s 2025 Patriot’s Day Parade to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington. We filled out the application and today we received this E-mail:
Congratulations, your application for Lexington’s 2025 Patriots’ Day Your application for the Parade on Saturday, April 19th, 2025 has been accepted. Since this is the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington, it will be a very big event. We are expecting record crowds to view the parade.
Details about the parade will be available in the coming months. I look forward to seeing you there.
Sincerely,
David Grabel

(Patriot’s Day Parade 2024 Lexington)
Camp Constitution is both honored and excited to participate in this event.
We have had floats in a number of parades including Boston’s Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. In 2022, our float in Alton, NH’s Old Town Week Parade won first place. But this will be the biggest parade yet.
We will be hosting a homeschool overnight the evening before and take in both the Midnight Ride of Paul Revere and the Battle of Lexington Reenactment at our Lane House just a few blocks from the Battle Green.
