Camp Constitution 2017 Review

Thanks to Rev. Steve Craft’s sound advice, the  generosity of Camp Constitution supporters, and, most importantly, the Lord blessing our efforts,  I became the camp’s full-time director in mid-February.  The following is a brief review of our activities:
 Our 9th Annual  Family Camp:
We had over 120 participants-the largest in our nine years.  First time guest instructors included author and writer, Alex Newman, Larry Pratt of Gun Owners or America, Professor Willie Soon of the Harvard-Smithsonian Institute, and Michael King of the Massachusetts Family Institute.  A local reporter spent a day at camp and wrote a favorable story

The Sam Blumenfeld Archives:

Our dear friend and Camp instructor Sam Blumenfeld passed away in 2015.  He willed his library to us and thanks to our camp newspaper editor, Mark Affleck, and our webmaster Eric Conover, we made much of Sam’s writing, books, audios, and videos available on our web site.  Here are the  estimated stats for 2017:
2 million hits
500GB of downloaded data (half a terrabyte)
75k Alpha-Phonics Workbooks downloaded
15k Alpha Phonics Instruction Manuals downloaded
Arithmetic and Writing Tutors are just now gaining  popularity estimate 1000 downloads each.Social Media:
Camp Constitution’s social media  presence continues to grow.  We are averaging 1,000 views per day on our YouTube Channel.  Willie Soon’s first class at this year’s camp has received over 54,000 views, and our 2017 Battle of Lexington Reenactment video was embedded on the Lexington Minuteman’s web site.
In September, we created an account on Podomatic to upload our Camp Constitution Radio Shows.  We are ranked between 4-10 on Podomatic for conservative programming with close to 700 downloads of our show.
Our live Facebook videos average well over 1,000 views

Camp Constitution Book Store:
We created an Amazon account for the sale of books donated by Camp Constitution supporters, and make other books available on my facebook page.  As a result, we have raised over $5,000.  We continue to receive book donations and just last week, we had a book store inventory donated to us.
Camp Constitution Press:
Earlier this year, we reprinted “Proof of the Illuminati,” and “Color, Communism, and Common Sense,” with a foreword by Rev. Steve Craft. Thanks to the efforts of our program director Mrs. Ruth Harper, and our camp newspaper editor, we published the “Feather” brochure listing our history, services, and activities.

Homeschool Shows:
We expanded our influence at regional homeschool shows having information tables in Maine, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania.  At the Pennsylvania show, we did a presentation on the dangers of an Article V Convention.
Talk Radio:
In addition to our weekly show which airs on WBCQ,  Camp Constitution speakers have made dozens of talk radio show engagements. Thanks to the influence of Professor Willie Soon , I appeared as a guest on Infowars “Real News” with David Knight, and thanks to Bob Seeley’s influence, I appeared as a guest on “What Really Happened” with Michael Rivero.  Both shows are heard around the country.    I also appeared on  “I am Right” hosted by Dr. Duke Pesta on two occasions, and Dr. Pesta plans to have me on regularly.

Camp Constitution Speakers Bureau
We created a speakers bureau in the fall of 2016.  In 2017, we  conducted dozens of  presentations from Presque Isle, ME to Grand Rapids, MI.  Our topics included “Know Your Constitution,”  Agenda 21 to Agenda 2030:  An Expose,”  “The Dangers of an Article V Convention,” “Color, Communism, and Common Sense:  How the Enemies of America are Using Race,” “Life Under Sharia Law,” and “The Constitution and Sharia Law.”

Information tables:
In addition to the above mentioned homeschools shows, we have held information tables at  gun shows, Cheshire County, NH Fair,  Tea Party rallies, and as of May, several info tables on Boston Common.

Outreach to the Inner City:
Last Spring, we attended a rally to save a local parking lot in Boston’s Codman Square.  We introduced Agenda 21 to the organizers of the rally which  resulted in guest appearances on the Praise and Worship Radio Show hosted by Pastor Bruce Wall, and  guest hosting a show as well.
Media coverage:
We continue to attract regional,  and national media coverage.  As mentioned earlier,  a reporter from the “Monadnock Ledger,” visited the camp, and wrote a favorable story on the camp  As a result of the City of Boston denying us a permit to raise the Christian flag on Boston’s City Hall Plaza, we had close to 60 media outlets cover the story including “World Net Daily,” and   a front page story in “The Boston Herald.” http://www.bostonherald.com/news/local_coverage/2017/09/no_fly_zone_city_hall_refuses_to_raise_christian_flag

Liberty Counsel has taken the case “pro bono.”

 Stop the Article V Convention:
In January, we  sponsored a speaking tour of Robert Brown, the creator of “The Constitution is the Solution” DVD series.  Robert did three evening presentations, two luncheons with state legislators present, two in studio radio interviews, and two press conferences.  Camp supporters testified against Article V resolutions in MA, ME and NH. We sponsored two state house outreaches distributing info on the subject to all of the legislators in Massachusetts and Michigan.  The pending resolutions in NH, and ME were soundly defeated despite the fact that the supporters of an Article V have full time lobbyists in the these states.  As of this writing, the resolutions in Massachusetts have not been voted on and should die in committee.  We recently learned that one of the lobbyist groups promoting an Article V convention consider us a major obstacle.

The Phyllis Schlafly Center to display a portion of Sam Blumenfeld’s Library:
Camp Constitution is honored to  donate a portion of Sam Blumenfeld’s library to be displayed at the Phyllis Schlafly Center in St Louis, MO.  Sam and  Mrs. Schlafly were good friends.

American Policy Center:
Tom DeWeese of the American Policy Center will have me conduct presentation on his organization’s behalf.  Camp Constitution will get the honorarium and in Tom’s words “You can promote Camp Constitution all you want.”

Camp Constitution’s 10th Annual Family Camp in Pittsfield, MA:
We are excited about our new location, the Lakeside Christian Camp in Pittsfield, MA.  As much as we loved Toah Nipi, we think Lakeside is a better facility, and since its rate’s are a little more family friendly, we are lowering our prices for campers 4-14.  We already have confirmed the return of Professor Willie Soon, Mrs. Krisanne Hall, John McManus, Rev. Steve Craft, Pastor Earl Wallace, Mrs. Catherine White and Michael King.  Attending camp for the first time will be Dr, Duke Pesta, one of the nation’s top experts on Common Core, and Lord Christopher Monckton, a leader in the Brexit Movement. Also returning is  Mr. Alan Belanger, a.ka. “Spunky the Clown.”  We will be holding an open house breakfast at the camp Saturday April 7-10:00 AM.
New Camps:
While we have not made any commitments, we are looking to host a weekend camp in South Jersey, and a week-long  camp in Michigan.
