How do we make sense of the political violence coming from the modern American left and the Democratic Party’s activist ecosystem—assassinations, riots, intimidation, attacks on police and ICE officers, and an increasingly open tolerance for political violence?
To understand it, we must look back to history—specifically to the Bolshevik movement in Russia.
The Bolsheviks, led by Vladimir Lenin, were among the first political movements to argue openly that violence was not only acceptable, but morally justified if it was carried out in the name of “justice” and “progress.”
They divided society into moral absolutes: good people versus bad people, the oppressed versus the oppressors. This framework explains why today white men are targeted, why BLM was created, and why the LGBTQ+ transgender movement was elevated—each used to manufacture grievance and permanent victimhood.
Anyone who disagreed with them, enforced the law, owned property, or defended existing institutions was labeled an enemy of the people.
That framework—moral absolutism paired with political violence—is the key link between the Bolsheviks and today’s Democratic Party activist wing.
Because the Bolsheviks believed they were on the “right side of history”—a phrase later popularized by Barack Obama—they claimed the authority to use violence: riots, intimidation, arrests, and killings. In 1917, they seized power by force, invalidated elections they lost, and ruled through fear. Does this sound familiar?
Their core belief was simple and catastrophic: once your cause is declared righteous, violence becomes not just acceptable—but necessary. Today, we have white, middle-aged women committing violence against federal police officers.
That same moral logic now defines large portions of the Democratic Party’s activist ecosystem: Antifa, BLM, and increasingly militant elements within the transgender movement—over and over again.
Look at what they did during the George Floyd riots.
Look at what they did to Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Look at the two assassination attempts on Donald Trump.
Look at what they did to Charlie Kirk.
Americans must wake up to where we are in history. Political violence has been morally justified before. It has always ended in tyranny. Allowing it to continue—no matter the cause—will cost this country everything.
