Ask an Ex-Trans Anything: A Presentation by David Arthur

The LORD has allowed David to obtain a very powerful testimony of deliverance and healing from a life darker than most of you can imagine. He endured molestation, sex-trafficking, prostitution, rape, gender confusion, homosexuality, and every kind of sexual addiction and perversion, along with alcohol, drugs, gambling, and more. 

Sexually abused from a very young age, he became a sex addict before puberty. The trauma left him drowning in gender dysphoria—the very “suicidal trans kid” so often held up to promote the transqueer agenda. He overdosed at 13 not caring if he ended the misery or not. He then ran away into prostitution, and contracted HIV/AIDS at 14. David also began wrong-sex hormones at age 14. In and out of juvenile detention, county jails, psych wards, and state prison, he finally lay on his deathbed by age 37.

In 2009 the doctors gave him less than three months to live. Full-blown AIDS had destroyed his immune system. The infections raged through his brain and his blood. Progressive osteoporosis, diabetes, and a host of mental diagnoses left him broken. Hospice came into his home. As his body weakened in that hospital bed, raw fear seized him—he was terrified to die because he knew hell was real and he deserved it. In desperation he cried out to GOD and suddenly understood: GOD was not cruelly sending him to hell; HE was simply honoring the choices David had made to go there. David opened a Bible, came under deep conviction, and spent weeks repenting and pleading to become a child of the FATHER.

Then one morning, still in excruciating pain, an incredible Peace flooded him—what he calls his “Moment of Grace.” In that instant he was free: free of gender confusion, free of the sexual, emotional, and physical addictions and strongholds, free of the weight of sin. He still believed he was dying, yet he was no longer afraid to die. He began praying that even through his death others would come to know the Truth.

Within weeks the miracle unfolded. His bones grew stronger. He stood up straight—something he had not done in nearly two years—and walked without the walker he had depended on. Doctors reported the diabetes was “mysteriously not present,” the HIV/AIDS virus was no longer detectable, and his immune system had returned full force. Chronic major depression, bipolar, anxiety, PTSD, and every other diagnosis were simply gone. But GOD!

David’s call is to tell of this freedom from addictions, strongholds, and habits—and how, in the process, GOD gave him crystal clarity that he was created male and could never change that. It was his circumstances and trauma that had twisted a natural longing for male validation into same-sex attraction. Telling of GOD’S amazing work in, with, and through his life is the first goal. 

The second goal is to expose the lgbtq+ transqueer agenda for the cult that it is. Many detransitioners and ex-gays stop short of the whole story. David’s burden is to speak the Truth as often and as clearly as he possibly can. Even knowing that the truth he exposes will isolate him from the majority of the church, and society! 

He has stumbled. He even tried for a short time to live as a “gay Christian.” But GOD showed him it is impossible to claim any false identity and walk in right relationship with HIM. Hallelujah—he has been rescued from the cesspools of gender dysphoria and all the lust-filled activity of homosexuality and other perversions and addictions. The FATHER has taught him how to minister to those still trapped in the deceptions of same-sex attraction and gender dysphoria.

Same-sex attraction is not part of our design; it is an addiction that appeals to our fallen, broken nature. You cannot identify as anything other than what GOD created you to be and still walk rightly with HIM.

Yes, David carries a very dark past. Crimes still try to taunt him, but they can hold no power. He has been washed clean and made a new creature so that this testimony can give others hope. Trying to use that past against him is like breaking into an old home he no longer lives in—he doesn’t live there and those are not his things.

For more than 30 years David was immersed in the lgbtq+ transqueer cult, living as a transgender woman for 20 years. Outwardly he appeared to be an advocate living his “best life now.” Inwardly the confusion, depression, and suicidal thoughts never left. Transition and affirmation never healed the root trauma; they only masked it while causing irreversible damage. But GOD!! HE broke through. Through a radical encounter with JESUS The CHRIST, David found real freedom and his true identity—not in feelings, but in The CHRIST alone.

Now, through IBA Ministries and his testimony in the documentary Fire and Brimstone, he reaches out with a burning heart to help others escape the same deception and find the deliverance that saved him. He also gives a lot of time to exposing the lgbtq transqueer cult’s agenda because you cannot get involved if you do not get informed.

David’s life story is both heartbreaking and profoundly hopeful; it is a raw, unfiltered warning from someone who walked the full length of the road that so many young people are being encouraged to take today.

His journey began in childhood: targeted, groomed, molested, abused, sex-trafficked, and eventually led into drugs, prostitution, wrong-sex hormones at 14, HIV/AIDS diagnosis that same year, sterility by 20, osteoporosis before 30, and a life that left him registered as a sex offender due to the very system that victimized him.

Everyone around him thought he was living as his ‘true self.’ The truth was far darker: transition and affirmation never healed the root trauma—they only masked it, while causing irreversible physical, mental and spiritual damage.
