For the past 20 years, I have attended the Battle of Lexington reenactment which takes place on Patriot’s Day-a holiday in Massachusetts and Maine. Over the years, I have brought family members, friends, homeschoolers, and since 2009, Camp Constitution campers and staff. Since the creation our YouTube channel, we have videotaped the event, and this year was no exception. Patriot’s Day falls on a Monday in the week of the actual date of the event, April 19. The reenactment, true to the actual time of the battle, takes place at 5:30 AM. I recommend that attending the reenactment be placed high on your “bucket list.” Camp Constitution will always honor the memory of the brave men who answered the alarm.
