The Lexington, MA selectmen pulled a permit for a rally to be hosted by Oath Keepers two days after the Boston Marathon bombing. The rally was suppose to take place on April 19, the date of the famous Battle of Lexington and Concord on the Green. One of the selectmen cited a possible link to the Marathon bombing and the Patriots. As it turned out, the bombing were done by two Muslim brothers from Russia.
Lexington police were ordered to keep people off the green. A number of Patriots showed up and a short gathering took place across from the Green. Larry Pratt of Gun Owners Action League, and Steward Rhodes of Oath Keepers were on hand.
